Standards and Usage

The colors used in the KU sesquicentennial logo help to make it a distinguishable element of KU's identity system. It is important to be consistent in the use of color.

The two-color logo is always preferred. It should be used on a white or light background. When the two-color logo is used on a gray background, the logo should be reversed (white).

Do not use the logo on a background that provides insufficient contrast.

When the logo is used on a photographic background, consider printing the logo on a blue bar if legibility would be compromised by the background image.
